Summary

MUNDO presents itself as a freely accessible open educational media library of the Länder, which is realised "within the framework of the SODIX project by FWU Institut für Film und Bild in Wissenschaft und Unterricht gGmbH, the Media Institute of the Länder" and is funded by the DigitalPakt Schule. Teachers, learners and their guardians are addressed to support their daily teaching and learning practice. The aim is to make it possible to find materials centrally that originate from the web and are fed into the media portal after being checked by the MUNDO editorial team according to "educational standards" and editorial guidelines, which are not defined further. Registered users can submit material proposals for publication free of charge. The reliability of the portal is emphasised here, which relies on continuous expansion and permanent access to educational media. Interactive use and participatory exchange will be realised "in one of the next steps", so that individually created materials can also be submitted.
