This paper refers to preparing young people to thrive in a continuously changing and complex work environment and to become active citizens in both. It reflects on the promotion of new learning strategies and innovative pedagogical projects using digital tools in schools and extra-curricular activities. The four domains targeted are the 21st century skills: communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.
