Digital Education Action Plan

Juraga, I. (2021): Digital Education Action Plan

Summary

Digital competencies are seen as essential for life and work. To develop educational interventions, it is suggested to overcome challenges such as (1) socio-economic inequalities, (2) inadequate infrastructure and internet, (3) lack of teacher training and guidance, (4) lack of plans and vision for integrating digital technologies into education and training, and (5) lack of quality online learning content. High-quality and inclusive digital education requires two strategic priorities: supporting the development of a high-performing digital education ecosystem and improving digital skills and competencies for digital transformation.
